- Lake Erie is a location from the Animated continuity family.
Lake Erie is a massive body of water on Earth, straddling the line between the United States and Canada. The manufacturing hub of Detroit is located on or near its shores, and somewhere in the middle is Dinobot Island.

When the Autobots' out-of-control spacecraft plummeted to Earth, it landed in Lake Erie.
Fifty years later, self-replicating nanites fell into the lake, and found their way to the Autobot craft, reactivating the ship's computers and crew. Transform and Roll Out
